Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Serves: 4 (makes 8 roll-ups)

Ingredients

For the Filling:

· 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (rotisserie chicken works perfectly)
· 4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, softened
· ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella/Italian blend)
· 2 tbsp sour cream or ranch dressing
· 1 tsp garlic powder
· ½ tsp onion powder
· ½ tsp dried parsley or chives
· Salt and black pepper to taste
· Optional add-ins: ¼ cup cooked bacon bits, diced green chiles, or broccoli florets

For Assembly:

· 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
· Melted butter or olive oil, for brushing
· Topping (optional): Everything Bagel seasoning, grated Parmesan, garlic powder

For Dipping (optional):

· Ranch dressing, honey mustard, or cream of chicken soup (thinned with milk)

Instructions

  1. Make the Filling

· In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
· Fold in the cooked chicken and shredded cheese (and any optional add-ins) until evenly combined.

  1. Assemble the Roll-Ups

· Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
· Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
· Place about 2 tablespoons of filling at the wide end of each triangle.
· Gently roll up from the wide end to the point, tucking in the sides as you go to seal the filling. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

  1. Bake

· Brush each roll-up lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle with optional toppings like Everything Bagel seasoning or Parmesan.
· Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crescent dough is puffed and deep golden brown.

  1. Serve

· Let cool for 5 minutes before serving (filling will be hot).
· Serve warm with ranch, honey mustard, or a simple gravy for dipping.

Key Success Tips

· Seal Tightly: Pinch dough seams to prevent filling from leaking.
· Don’t Overfill: Too much filling will cause bursting.
· Use Soft Cream Cheese: This makes mixing easy and filling smooth.
· Check Doneness: Rolls should be uniformly golden brown.

Make-Ahead & Storage

· Refrigerate Uncooked: Assemble, cover, and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
· Freeze Uncooked: Place unbaked roll-ups on a tray, freeze solid, then bag for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen, adding 3-5 minutes.
· Leftovers: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in oven or air fryer to re-crisp.

Delicious Variations

· Buffalo Chicken: Mix chicken with buffalo sauce and blue cheese.
· Pizza Roll-Ups: Use pizza sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella.
· Ham & Swiss: Use diced ham and Swiss cheese.
· Vegetarian: Use broccoli, carrots, and cheddar.
· Dessert Version: Fill with Nutella and sliced bananas or apple pie filling.

Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, party appetizer, or kid-friendly lunch!
